Soap & Seeds packaging
Fall 2021 | Myers School of Art | Packaging class
The goal for this project was to create a packaging solution that would minimize waste and be environmentally friendly. This box for lavender scented soap is designed to be repurposed as a planter to start your own lavender seeds.
Once the soap has been removed, perforated tabs are taken out to allow the seed paper top to sit 1/4” below the surface. The box is then filled with dirt and the seeds are ready to germinate indoors. The box is also made from biodegradable materials so it can be planted directly in the ground outside once the sprouts are ready. Multi-purpose, plastic-free, and made with minimal materials.
